Memorable photos convey the spirit of a community and the causes that strengthen it. Taking great pictures can be challenging, especially when the subjects or scenes spring from everyday activities.
Three well known photographers and the designer of the Each and Every exhibition, Rick Landesberg, offered advice on improving visual storytelling. They drew on lessons learned from working with hundreds of nonprofits over time. The resulting “Master Class” shared tips on topics like improving photos on a budget and setting reluctant subjects at ease.
